Scale

CPU, memory, replicas and autoscaling of a service.

Get

GET/containers/services/{serviceId}/scale
{
  "success": true,
  "data": {
    "replicas": 1,
    "cpu": 250,
    "ram": 512,
    "storageMb": 1024,
    "autoscaling": { "enabled": false, "minReplicas": 1, "maxReplicas": 1, "cpuTarget": 70, "memoryTarget": 70 },
    "status": "active",
    "region": { "code": "id", "name": "🇮🇩 Indonesia" },
    "dailyCost": 1100
  }
}

cpu is in millicores (125 = 0.125 vCPU), ram in MB. status is updating while a change is being applied.

Applies right away; no deploy needed.

Prop

Type

Always check the price first:

curl -X PATCH "https://api.helipod.io/api/containers/services/$SERVICE/scale?dryRun=true" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer hel_your_key" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "replicas": 3, "cpu": 500, "ram": 1024 }'
{ "success": true, "data": { "dryRun": true, "currency": "IDR", "currentDailyCost": 1100, "newDailyCost": 7800, "note": "An increase is charged pro rata for the rest of today when it is applied." } }

Without dryRun the change is applied and the new scale is returned. An increase is charged for the rest of today; if the wallet can't cover it, the change is rolled back. Your plan's limits for CPU, memory and services apply (402 when exceeded).
