n8n

Automate Helipod from n8n workflows with the Helipod community node: redeploy, restart, manage VPS, check domains and send email.

The Helipod node for n8n runs Helipod actions inside a workflow: redeploy a service when a webhook fires, restart it when a health check fails, stop a VPS at night, check whether a domain is free, or send an email from your own domain. It is published on npm as n8n-nodes-helipod.

Install

In n8n open Settings → Community nodes → Install, enter n8n-nodes-helipod and confirm. The Helipod node then appears in the node panel.

Connect your account

The node's Authentication field offers two credentials.

  1. In the dashboard open Settings → API keys and create a key with the products the workflow uses (Container API, VPS API, Domain API, Email API, Account API). See API keys.
  2. In n8n create a Helipod API Key credential and paste the key (hel_…).

Each result is the API's data; a list becomes one item per element. Every operation can also be used as a tool by n8n's AI Agent node.

Examples

  • Redeploy on push: Webhook (from your Git host) → Helipod Service: Deploy.
  • Self-healing: Schedule every 5 minutes → HTTP Request to your app → If it fails → Helipod Service: Restart → Helipod Email: Send to the team.
  • Low balance alert: Schedule daily → Helipod Account: Get Wallet → If the balance is low → Telegram or email.
  • Domain watch: Schedule weekly → Helipod Domain: Search → If available → notify.

A deploy charges today's cost of the service, as in the dashboard. With OAuth you can keep purchases off or set a monthly limit; with an API key, give the key only the products the workflow needs.
